Children’s Performance


Our story takes us to the faraway lands of Halconcito Pichón or Little Hawk, who is a bird that can’t yet fly because she doesn’t know her song.  For her wings to take flight, she must go off on a magic quest to find it!  She’ll need to call on assistance from different helpers to find her way and it won’t be easy, but Halconcito Pichón is determined to take to the skies.

Taller de Construcción de Flautas


En este taller práctico, los participantes experimentarán instrumentos musicales de cerámica elaborados en Centro y Sudamérica durante miles de años, y crearán sus propias flautas de arcilla, u ocarinas. Mediante técnicas sencillas de modelado a mano y afinación intuitiva, cada participante creará un instrumento único que funciona tanto como herramienta musical como obra de arte visual.

Flute-making Workshop


In this hands-on workshop, participants will experience ceramic musical instruments made across Central and South America for thousands of years, and create their own clay vessel flutes, or ocarinas. Through simple hand-building techniques and intuitive tuning, each participant will craft a unique instrument that functions as both a musical tool and a visual work of art.
