Bilingual arts integrated performances and residencies with early childhood through 12th grade use clay, music, and Pre-Columbian musical instrument traditions to inspire interest in nature, culture, and history.

Learning to build our own musical instruments with clay slows us down, connects us to our bodies and to our self-expression, and helps us to rediscover a sense of wonder and play as we reconnect with an ancestral tradition. 

Performance-based instrument demonstrations give a multisensory introduction to ancient instruments whose unique forms, scales and sounds provide a glimpse into the extraordinary cultures that created them.

An inspiring performance for Pre-K - 5th grade transports us to faraway lands, where we experience a diverse collection of musical instruments while participating in a mythical story of challenge and persistence that leads to triumph and celebration.
